School Rules

Southeastern Martial Arts Academy School Rules

1. Martial artist will keep up academic grades. If your grades are down, we would prefer you to stay home and improve the grade, and then return to class.

2. Martial artist will respect the fighting arts. We learn to walk away, not begin fights.

3. Martial artist will respect people.

4. Martial artist will respect the dojo. By helping to keep it clean, (if you see trash pick it up, keep shoes off the mats, and wear the flip flop that are reserved for restroom use they are provided there for you).

4. Martial artist will address adults and instructors with "Sir or Ma'am".

5. Martial artist will be gang free.

6. Martial artist will bow when entering or exiting the building of all dojos and when entering or leaving all sparring rings.

7. Martial artist will refrain from the use of all kinds of profanity and negative put-downs.

8. Martial artist will not fight in dojo without permission from instructor.

9. Martial artist will not indulge in horseplay in the dojo.

10. Martial artist will not run in dojo unless asked by instructor.

11. Martial artist will pay dues by first of the month.

12. Martial artist will not leave dojo without permission.

13. Martial artist will not wear jewelry of any kind (rings, watches, neckelaces, piercings, etc.)
